DR. ZIMMERMAN WORKS ON RESEARCH INNOVATION & DATA QUALITY FOR THE GEAS RESEARCH WORKING GROUP

Dr. Linnea Zimmerman is an assistant professor in the department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She works on adolescent empowerment, data quality, and research innovations for the Global Early Adolescent Study. 

Dr. Zimmerman also serves as the Associate Director of Research for PMA2020, where she oversees the data management and analytic work for the project. Dr. Zimmerman has interests in the intersection of reproductive health and humanitarian emergencies and wrote her dissertation on techniques for indirect estimation of mortality during and after humanitarian emergencies. She holds a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master in Public Health from Emory University
