Ashley is the Senior Coordinator for the GEAS.

Ashley has considerable professional experience in executive and academic administration, and prior to joining the GEAS team, worked with a number of programs, including the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and TRIO at North Carolina State University, to provide outreach, support, and extracurricular educational opportunities to students of all ages and backgrounds as they progressed toward and through higher education.

Ashley holds a BA in moral philosophy and a minor in cultural anthropology from North Carolina State University, where she was awarded for her work in transparency and accountability in research. She expects to complete her MA in Humanistic Studies at the Johns Hopkins University Humanities Center in 2018, where her research interests include ethics, identity, gender, and sexuality in contemporary American media and popular culture.
